Police Station Rep

Ola became a fully accredited police station representative in 2011. He regularly attends police stations across the United Kingdom to provide fearless and robust advice and representation to clients for all criminal related offences; ranging from murder, serious drugs and fraud conspiracies all the way down to shoplifting and driving offences.


His aggressive but reasonable nature has made him a firm favourite with the clients he interacts with, ensuring that his client’s needs and rights are adhered to at the police station. He is ever willing to attend police stations across London and surrounding areas with short notice, often during the weekends and late hours of the night.


Ola has been the caseworker on many notable and high profile cases and has proven his capabilities by effectively balancing a caseload of up to 40 cases at a time.

 

Ola completed the legal practice course (LPC) at the University of Law (Bloomsbury Campus) in July 2017, graduating with a distinction. 

 

Notable Cases for which Ola Oladimeji attended the police station:

 

  • R –v- R and others (2014) (Murder)

  • Ola represented one of three males charged with murder. All three defendants were seen on CCTV attacking the deceased with a crutch and a bladed article resulting in the victim receiving seven stab wounds. The matter involved five interviews across two days. The defendant was found not guilty on all charges.


  • Police –v- B and B (2013) (GBH)

  • Brothers’ arrested for stabbing complainant several times. Having been recommended by previous clients of Ola’s, both clients were adamant that they did want to be represented by anyone else. Matter subjected to no further action.


  • R –v- A – (2016) (Benefit Fraud)

  • Complex case involving mother who owned a property, was a director/shareholder of two businesses, in full time employment, was undertaking casual work, had two national insurance numbers in two different names, and alleged to have provided false wage slips to the council. The matter involved three lengthy police interviews and a large amount of time was spent correcting the Crown’s theory. The defendant received a suspended sentence.


  • Police –v- K and K (2014) (Money Laundering)
    Extensive knowledge of inheritance tax, income tax and capital gains tax required when advising couple whose property portfolio consisted of over 10 properties with a combined worth of over one million pounds. The couple had no prior dealings with the police and Ola was able to clearly explain their rights at the police station and also the law in relation to taxes. Matter subjected to no further action.


  • R –v- A (2016) (Death by dangerous driving)

  • Ola was able to secure bail for the defendant having successfully made representations that the matter should fall in the category of death by careless driving.
