Jaina Jani has worked as a senior caseworker within a busy north London practice for over 7 years. She has extensive experience of defending those accused of serious crimes and has done so from when clients have been arrested at the police station.
Having been fully accredited police representative from 2010, Jaina has represented an array of clients for allegations ranging from theft, fraud, rape to murder. She has frequently attended police stations all over the UK and has done so on short notice. Through her meticulous and sensitive approach to each case, clients have regularly requested her assistance again and recommender her to friends and family.
Her time as a caseworker has allowed her to build on her experience to ensure that no stone is left unturned in securing the best result. This approach has been applied whilst advising clients at the police station to ensure the legal right of her clients are protected and advanced. She also had responsibility of the monthly CRM billing and has done for over 4 years.
Jaina also has experience with dealing with high volume of clients at the police station at the same time without affecting the advice provided. An example of this is when Jaina dealt with 13 clients at the police station over 48 hours in December 2016.

R v S (2012)

Represented client at Sutton police Station for an allegation of importing class A drugs for a SOCA investigation. The client who was of good character and had no experience with the criminal legal system. 3 lengthy interviews were conducted where staged disclosure was provided. Through the time spent with the client at the police station and having carefully listened to the instructions provided, a prepared statement was advanced. This assisted the client being found not guilty at trial. Jaina also acted as caseworker for this matter.

R v SA (2013)
Represented client at Police station for an allegation of murder. Client required an appropriate adult due to the severity of his learning difficulties. Through the advice provided, client was subject to no further action. -

R v H (2015)
Represented client at Leyton Police Station over two days for an allegation of murder of murder of his lover's husband. The client had conducted 2 interviews without legal representation before instructing legal representation. Through the advice provided and through the work conducted as a caseworker, the client was found not guilty of murder.
